      Hye,
      I have used WCMP on my website and enabled “Sold By” from backend dashboard but when I visit my website and open product then I’m not getting “Sold by” tag on product page,
      Kindly help me to do this.
      Also I want to show Vendor review on that vendor’s product on single product page

      @Mian Irfan, thanks for the query.

      If the sold by option is enabled, then “Enable “Sold by”, (see this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/m0lb7t), then the same should be displayed.

      If you are still not getting the Sold By name, can you share temporary admin access, so we can look into this issue.

      While sharing the access, don’t forget to mark the response as private.

      I need favor.
      I just love wcmp.
      Can you tell me how can I block Vendors to access wordpress dashboard from vendors dashboard?
      I will be very thankful to you if you can guide me for this.
      Thanks

      @Mian Irfan, great to know that you love our plugin. A 5/5 review here- https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/dc-woocommerce-multi-vendor/reviews/#new-post , would be a great way to share your experience with others.

      Now, in order to block Vendors to access wordpress dashboard, you can do custom code and restrict vendor from accessing the backend, by checking if the under role is dc_vendor, they can’t access the backend. This document might help you out further – https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/limit-access-to-your-wordpress-dashboard/

      Alternatively, you may use our add-on WCMp Advance Frontend Manager (https://wc-marketplace.com/product/wcmp-frontend-manager/) and enable the option “Disallow Vendors wp-admin Access” via WCMp >> Settings >> General (see this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/m0od0o).

      Let us know if you have any further query.

      Hye, Sure I will rate 5/5 to wcmp.

      Can you please provide me complete code to restrict vendors for accessing wordpress dashboard?
      As I have not to much experience yet so kindly provide me code with instructions like where to place that code.
      Or if you can do this for me then I can provide you credentials of my website.
      Thanks

      @Mian Irfan, just add the code in the function.php of the current active theme, shared in this doc- https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/limit-access-to-your-wordpress-dashboard/ i.e.

      add_action( 'init', 'blockusers_init' );
      function blockusers_init() {
      if ( is_admin() && ! current_user_can( 'administrator' ) &&
      ! ( defined( 'DOING_AJAX' ) && DOING_AJAX ) ) {
      wp_redirect( home_url() );
      exit;
      }
      }
      copy

      Let us know if you have any further query.

      Hello, Moumita:
      I’m starting to use WCMP plugin. with storefront theme, I selected to enable “Sold By” from backend dashboard. but the”sold by” items are not showed on woocommerce plugin’s shope page. it would be grateful to get your help.

    • #49937

      @zccwsm, If Sold By option is enabled (see this screenshot – https://prnt.sc/m22o3o), then you can see the same in the shop page too. As you can see on this page – http://demo.dualcube.com/wordpress/wp1013/

      Now, if you are facing this issue, can you please share temporary admin access, so we can look into this. While sharing the access, don’t forget to mark the response as private.

      @Moumita, my website is on my laptop’s localhost. I have test dozens of times it is the same result with no soldby shown on pages.

    • #49942

      @zccwsm, if the settings are configured correctly, then it should not be a theme issue, as we also use Storefront and it is working properly. So, please check whether you have added any custom code in the function.php of your theme.

      Also, disable all the plugins except WooCommerce, WC Marketplace and check the same again.

      Keep us posted.

      @Moumita, I double checked. it seems not show “sold by” only with products from storefornt dummy data. is it? i have installed storefront theme with its own dummy products. it is showing “sold by” with products from later registered vendors.

    • #49946

      @zccwsm, we will only show the “Sold By” tag, for the product that has vendor assigned (see this screenshot -https://prnt.sc/m22wpv ).

      Now the dummy products are admin’s products, hence this will not have any sold by vendor name with it.

      let us know if you have any further query.
