      Hi there

      It looks like the SEO title is not appearing in the browser. The SEO description is OK.

      Hi @kim, we tested this on our end. The title is appearing on our end (see the scrrenshot – https://prnt.sc/phrdv2).
      You can check the same for this product – http://wcmpdemos.com/all-in-one-demo/product/dasdsada/

      As you are facing this issue, can you please share vendor access, so we can check.

      While sharing the access, don’t forget to mark the response as private.

      Hi there

      I have talked to the Divi team. And they would like to know:

      “Is it possible to ask the plugin author if the theme needs to meet special conditions in order for that SEO plugin to work? Divi is using default WordPress function to display the title which is the_title or get_the_title any information that would help us making Divi 100% compatible with this plugin will help a lot.”

      They would like to get the Plugin to work with the Divi theme. But they need a little information to make a fix.

      Hello,

      Please pass this information to them.

      Since WordPress 4.1, the Title tag was being dynamically generated.
      https://codex.wordpress.org/Title_Tag

      It uses the function “_wp_render_title_tag”. To modify the title, this function has the filter “document_title_parts” which we are using. Can you please ask them to check it and suggest the way forward.

      Waiting for their reply.

      Hi, the theme author contracted us. The problem is we both are also using a filter

      elegant_titles_filter
      copy

      to output the page title on the front end.

      In order to fix this, add this code in the function.php of the current active theme to remove the filter:

      remove_filter( 'pre_get_document_title', 'elegant_titles_filter' );
      copy

      I have put in the code into my funtions.php

      But the WordPress site then crash.

      In my editor it claims “Syntax error, unexpected $EOF”

      @kim, the theme author is looking into this.

      For now, remove the core from function.php.

      Hi there

      Now the SEO title is working on the vendor product page with this filter in the functions.php from the Divi Team.

      function remove_parent_filters(){
      global $post;
      if (is_product() && get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘_wcmp_seo_product_meta_title’, true)){
      remove_filter( ‘pre_get_document_title’, ‘elegant_titles_filter’ );
      }
      }
      add_action( ‘wp’, ‘remove_parent_filters’ );

      But the error with the missing SEO title is still on the vendor page. The Divi team askes for a “page name” or some sort of “filter name” like they used with the “is_product”.

      Can you help with that?

      @kim, by vendor page, are you referring to Vendor Dashboard page or Vendor shop page.

      the checking for vendor dashboard page is

      is_vendor_dashboard()
      copy

      and for vendor shop page is

      is_tax( 'dc_vendor_shop' )
      copy

      This did the trick!

      function remove_parent_filters(){

      global $post;

      if (is_product() && get_post_meta($post->ID, ‘_wcmp_seo_product_meta_title’, true) || is_tax( ‘dc_vendor_shop’ )){
      remove_filter( ‘pre_get_document_title’, ‘elegant_titles_filter’ );
      }
      }
      add_action( ‘wp’, ‘remove_parent_filters’ );
