I have a couple of questions for refunding order:
1, in vendor dashboard I have Order details #7985 Processing Edit which I can change to refunded
2, half way down the screen I have a Refund button that when I click open a box to let me add a refund amount in to refund
3, Customer Refund Request which I can also change
What is the procedure for making a refund for a vendor?
How does the site admin know that the vendor has a approved the refund so admin can actually refund the customer?
Very confused on the refund and your link https://wc-marketplace.com/knowledgebase/wcmp-setup-guide/ does not explain it.

Hi @caymancharterboat, sorry for the delayed response, as we were closed due to the weekend.
Let me help you out with two things :
– Refund Requested/approved by customer: This module lets the customer ask for a refund, and the admin/vendor will either accept that or reject that. This doc will help you out further: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1n0oxlDdToJeth4gKrgmzq7JBlK5LVkFpRPdOqqFvwt8/edit?usp=sharing
– Refund released: Once the refunded amount will be paid to the customer, the vendor/admin can update the order status, by using the “refund” button of the order.

When a refund is given, is their away to NOT have the cost of the refund refunded also?

Also when a refund is given where does that order go, right now If I refund the order is gone from my account, why does it not stay and marked as refunded in case I need to see it in the furure?

Hi, can you please explain these things a bit more. Some screenshots/video will be very much appreciated:

This is a screen cap showing on my orders in the vendor dashboard, you can see orders processing and completed, but NO refunded orders? If I refund an order then it is deleted from my orders and I have no way of seeing it again? it should show it and mark is as refunded right?

To check at your end, please share temporary admin access, vendor access and order number- against which you are facing issue. Don’t forget to mark the thread private, while sharing the data.
