Greetings, I have been reading through prior to purchasing and found something I was hoping for. The ability for a vendor to set both wholesale and retail prices. Or more.

I know very little about coding so am unable to make this work myself but was wondering. If a vendor is able to set two or more price variations could a new vendor staff role be created “Wholesale customer” or something similar? This could require the user to request permission for access to that staff position giving them access to buy at those prices as well as open an avenue for paid memberships for the marketplace owner.

Using variable product concept the vendor can defiantly set retail or wholesale price, all you have to do is create attributes such as variable cost and wholesale cost and define the quantity.

Thanks for the reply. Let’s see if I can explain what I want to do.
I want to have 3 types of members. Vendors, Customers and Resellers.

Vendors post their products with multiple prices. Primarily retail and wholesale. Wholesale2, 3 etc if possible. Min-max order amount shown for all prices.

Customers buy using retail price. Wholesale and others are invisible to them.

Resellers are upgraded customers who pay a monthly premium for the benefit of seeing wholesale (and more) prices. To be able to buy at wholesale price they will need to apply to individual vendors for approval. This is where I thought vendor staff level might come into play as it would be vendor specific. The reseller could hold a wholesale purchasing permission with multiple vendors.

Thanks for your clarification.

Now we understood your requirement.

We can set the different price by creating some variations etc, but I am afraid, our vendor stuff is a role where vendor can only delegate some / all functionality they have, like adding/updating product, check sales report etc.

In your case, you need to have a new role whole sheller who will be an extended customer who can buy product in a different price than retail via front end. Need some front end restriction so that the whole sheller prices will be available only to them, not general customer.

It will require some customisation above our core to meet your business goal. Kindly let us know if you need any further clarification.
