Paying For Subscription Products Resolved

      I have created a subscription product using Woocommerce Subscriptions under my admin so it is not assigned to a vendor. When testing as a customer I go through to the checkout and it states there is no suitable payment option available. I have Stripe Marketplace installed but it doesn’t allow me to pay via this. If I activate Stripe in Woocommerce then as a customer purchasing products two Stripe checkouts appear.
      Could you help me as to why Stripe marketplace doesn’t show please?
      Is it because the subscription product isn’t assigned to a vendor? If this is the case I’m trying to sell a subscription product as admin but I don’t want to allow any vendors to be able to sell subscription products. Is there a way to allow this?
      Thank you

      This is the error message and just as an update… I assigned the subscription product to a vendor and when trying to purchase it I still had this payment error message when reaching checkout:

      ‘Sorry, it seems there are no available payment methods which support subscriptions. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.’

      Does Stripe Marketplace support the purchase of subscription products?

      Hi @Victoria Aldridge, sorry to hear that you have faced this issue.

      Currently, WCMp Stripe Marketplace is not compatible with WooCommerce Subscription. However, we will soon start working on this integration.

      Will keep you posted.

      Thank you for your reply.

      So, how do other marketplaces have their customers pay for subscription products? I’m confused as the capability is there for subscription products so how do they pay for them?

      @Victoria Aldridge, to receive payment for subscription products, you need to use either WooCommerce Stripe or PayPal for now.

      So, if you use WooCommerce Stripe, then admin will receive the full payment initially, then WCMp stripe will send the vendor, their payment as per the schedule.

      Thank you for your reply.

      The issue is that if I activate Woocommerce Stripe then at the checkout there are two payment options when a customer pays for a ‘simple’ or ‘variable’ product. I’ve already tested this. Is there a way around this please?

      @Victoria Aldridge, can you please share a screenshot explaining this “here are two payment options when a customer pays for a ‘simple’ or ‘variable’ product”

      Trying to attach to this reply. I’m not sure if it’s going to work as I seem to have trouble with this. As you can see it gives the customer two check boxes which are two different Stripe payment options, one being the Stripe Marketplace and the other being Woocommerce Stripe.

      Hi @Victoria Aldridge, As a solution, you can hide woocomerce stripe for other product types, by using this code

      /*************** Wooocommerce stripe disable for normal product *************************/
      add_filter( 'woocommerce_available_payment_gateways', 'payment_gateway_disable_for_subcription_product' );
      function payment_gateway_disable_for_subcription_product($available_gateways){
        global $woocommerce;
        $items = $woocommerce->cart->get_cart();
        foreach($items as $item => $values) {
          $_product =  wc_get_product( $values['data']->get_id());
          if ( isset( $available_gateways['stripe'] ) && $_product->get_type() != 'subscription' ) {
            unset( $available_gateways['stripe'] );
          }
        }
        return $available_gateways;
      }
      Copy
