I have a few questions about memberships

      1. I want to offer a number of free listings on my ‘free membership’ before I then start charging per listing.
When I set a number of free listings, will this be reset each month? I was hoping to offer for example ’20 free listings per month’.

      2. When a listing is added – will it stay on there indefinitely or am I able to select a period before it expires and needs to be re listed?

      3. If I offer a paid membership offering free listings and a vendor signs up and lists all of their products, will they be able to downgrade their account without paying for their listings? I want to avoid vendors signing up and listing all of their products for free and then downgrading the account to avoid the charges after the ‘free membership’ ‘free listings’ end.

Hi @handmadeontheweb, our replies are inline :
      1. I want to offer a number of free listings on my ‘free membership’ before I then start charging per listing.

      >> The listing number depends on the limitation of the plan duration and not as per month.

Means, if you set a monthly plan, only then the vendor can add product within the limits for that month.

      2. When a listing is added – will it stay on there indefinitely or am I able to select a period before it expires and needs to be re listed?

      >> This again depends on the plan duration. Now, if the vendor doesn’t upgrade the plan, then as per the Grace Period and status after grace period (https://prnt.sc/r06y6r), products will be hidden.

      >> If you want to restrict the vendor from adding any product for Free plan, then all you have to do is disable the “Submit Product” option for that plan.

Let us know if you have any further query.
