I noticed that if you do any type of html element, bold, italic, etc. in the Store Description field and click Save Options, it clears out any of that formatting. However, Message to Buyers right below it is retaining the elements fine.
Are you able to re-create? I’m on version Version 3.5.11. Thanks for looking into it.
It’s doing the same in the fields in the Policies area (Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Cancellation). All of these issues with every update is starting to get frustrating. Every update I have to literally spend hours testing on my test server and look at every page/aspect of the plugins before updating to assure nothing will come up for my customers.
If you have any html in the field, it will display that html instead of actually making it happen (p, ul, li, etc.).
Also, I looked at the git and the video shared wasn’t the correct area. The developer was in the Edit Product area… That’s not where the issue is. It’s happening in Store Policies. The Store Description fields and now we noticed the text areas in the Policies area don’t work either. It ignores the html and just displays it as text.
Here you can see the Shipping policy has some list formatting using the WordPress standard editor. Then, on the product page, it displays it all as one paragraph and display the html.
Hi, We got your point and we will review all the editors in wc marketplace plugin. In our latest update we will fix all the editors with proper HTML format.
