I actually did this… I took a chance using App Ninja, and I’m really really happy with the result. Although, it did take many hours of special custom CSS to make it look right, it’s based on a WordPress plugin and it does all the serious hard part for you.
Even got it approved in the Apple App Store, without having to own a Mac.
Great support as well, and supposedly there are more features coming that are designed for woocommerce.
Having turned a different website into an app in the past, this was 1000% a better experience. Didn’t have to hire anyone and it was really affordable.
The WCMp vendor dashboard was tricky to make work though, particularly because it’s not great on mobile to begin with. But since you can’t access it when you’re logged in as an admin, the only way to make app only CSS changes is through a lot of trial and error. But… it’s easy to do and you don’t have to send a formal app update anywhere near as often as I thought.
