    hi

will the Vendor Management addon be able to work with Paypal Adaptive Payments for recurring subscription payments?

    https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/products/adaptive-payments/

    from paypal:

“How to get started – Check your account status. Log into PayPal. Click the Profile icon at the top right, and then select Profile and settings from the Business Profile menu. (If you do not see the profile icon at the top of the page, select Profile which appears in the top menu when the My Account tab is selected.) In the left menu, click My settings to confirm that your Account Type is either Premier or Business, or upgrade your account.”

the idea is that i could use my existing paypal business account, but not need a paypal pro account, thus i wouldn’t need to pay a monthly fee, just pay from transactions only

    thanks 🙂

    Hello Will,

Thanks for reaching out. On behalf of the entire DualCube team I wish that may all your endeavors are met with huge success and appreciation. Happy New Year!

Coming to your query, we are planning to launch an add-on to handle vendor payments via PayPal Adaptive payments. Once both, vendor management and this add-on is launched, we would try to get this added as a method to accept subscription payments but that would only happen after few months of the main add-on launch.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

    hi sandeep

    thanks

you mentioned that the new WV Vendor Management addon (hopefully released in a few weeks) will be able to manage recurring subscriptions:

WC Vendor Management addon – how’s it comiing along?

“Subscription fees – fixed or recurring”

    1. how will the WC Vendor Management addon that is to be released in a few weeks handle subscription/recurring payments?

    2. do you mean that subscription/recurring payments will not be possible until the paypal adaptive addon is created?

    3. can i start to accept subscription payments anyway with the version of the WC Vendor Management addon that is due to come out in a few weeks, or must i wait for the paypal adaptive payment addon too?

i’m concerned that i won’t be able to have subscription vendors start paying until the paypal adaptive payment addon is created

in other words, i want to start subscription payments as soon as the WC Vendor Management addon comes out (that’s kinda what i was counting on with the upcoming WC Vendor Management addon), even if the vendor does a common manual paypal payment using my paypal standard business account, then add the paypal adaptive automatic recurring payment addon later

have i explained my concern well enough?

i really like how WC-Marketplace is overall designed, very vendor friendly, more vendor features coming down the road (great!)

    let me know, thanks

    Hello Will,

Sorry, I messed up the 2 add-ons for Vendor Management and PayPal adaptive. To clarify, you won’t need to wait for PayPal adaptive add-on to handle recurring and subscription payments within Vendor Management add-on. This has been worked out to use PayPal Express. We are already late with the new seller dashboard so that might affect the ETA for the vendor management add-on too. I shall share an updated ETA once we go live with the new seller dashboard so that you can plan your activities accordingly.

    Regards,
    Sandeep

I would keep you posted, infact would also like to send the beta version of the main plugin once new seller dashboard is ready, so that you can help us with testing. Let me know if you can assist.

Thanks for heading up @rickharris900. After your reference for Payolee, I went through the site – http://www.payolee.com/, to check its integration compatibility with the WooCommerce also on the other hand I checked whether WooCommerce supports Payolee or not.

Unfortunately, WooCommerce doesn’t support Payolee. So, Payolee is unlikely to integrate with the WC-Marketplace because WC-Marketplace is built based on WooCommerce coding standard and is supporting and will support the payment gateways supported by the WooCommerce.

    Rimpa
