    Hi,

    Stripe doesn’t do what i expected and i don’t see where is the problem
    I configure the vendor commission = 80%
    A customer buy 100€ product of this vendor
    I see in the “vendor orders” that he receive 80€

    1) Why i see the 100€ payment in the admin stripe account instead of 20€ fee’s ?
    2) what is “stripe adaptative” vs “stripe masspay” ?

    @bruno.teva1 – Let me clear that logic here. As soon as, the customer pays for the product, that will be transferred to the admin’s account. Once the product is marked as shipped, the disbursement of the commission takes place. Then only the vendor and admin can see their separate earnings.

    Stripe MassPay – The entire amount paid by the customers, goes to the admin’s account. And as per the schedule set by the admin, the commission/earning of vendor goes to there account i.e, scheduled pay.

    Stripe Adaptive – As soon as the payment is done by the customers, based on the percentage set, the earning divides and goes to the Admin as well as vendor’s account.

    It is suggested to consult Stripe for more details on the same.

    I don’t see any doc on “stripe adaptive”
    Is this the same as “stripe connect” ?

    In this case, the actual “marketplace stripe gatway” plugin doesn’t use “stripe connect” to divide the amount directly to the vendor and admin ?
    Is that correct ?

    query n°2 : Where the vendor can mark the product as “shipped” in the “vendor dashboard” ?

    query n°3 : I see the normal flow like this
    – customer buy product or service
    – marketplace charge the price
    – vendor confirm that the product is shipped or the service is done
    – marketplace check that everything is ok (or put it automatic) and pay the vendor
    – vendor receive stripe payment
    – marketplace send mail to customer that the process is complete

    For the refund
    – customer ask refund (from customer dashboard)
    – vendor accept (or not)
    – if vendor accept, the marketplace ask refund (but it can be done automatically)

    Please, could you explain the actuel flow because it doesn’t work for me

    @bruno.teva1 – Please note that WC-Marketplace supports Stripe MassPay not Stripe Adaptive.

    Yes, you are correct. Using Marketplace Stripe Gateway, the amount goes from Admin’s account to vendor’s account. To direct payment to the admin and the vendor, Stripe Adaptive is required. We will work on Stripe Adaptive too but before that we are on the verge of completing the PayPal Adaptive.

    Please go to the Order tab for marking the product as “Shipped” in the vendor dashboard.

    Moving to your last query, both the flow somewhere depends on the schedule the admin will set for disbursement of the payment.

    @bruno.teva1 Hi, have you been able to work with Stripe connect? I think that I have the same problem.
